BACKGROUND
ABOUT ME
After growing up in Kent, I moved to London 12 years ago and have since worked in the built environment industry, initially within architecture and placemaking, before moving into development and house building.
STYLE
I have always found enjoyment in a variety of artist techniques and forms, from the literal to the abstract and through this my style has evolved.
My first piece was of Beckenham where I had purchased my first home during lockdown and served as a means to better know the area I was now living.
My work is heavily influenced by my love of architecture, and has developed through combining a variety of drawing styles that are simplistic yet visually intriguing through their intricacies.
HIGH QUALITY PRINTS
All of my copies are done by local Kentish fine art trained technicians of the highest quality, award winning & certified giclée fine art prints on hemp paper.
MAPPING OUT
The process begins with defining the area I wish to cover and particular geographical features which tend to form the structure of the map, before layering the buildings and places of significance to person I am commissioning for.
PEN PALS
Earlier this year, on my 30th birthday, I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.
Since then, my artwork has taken on far greater importance to me as a means of escapism and as a therapeutic means of distraction from the day to day challenges of living with Type 1.
